Opening May 1, 2020

To our wonderful clients:

With the most rigorous guidelines for sanitation and distancing in place to keep you and our staff safe, we’re excited to announce we will be re-opening our doors tomorrow, Friday, May 1.  We have modified the check in process, our phone confirmations, how we offer our service to maximize sanitation, and even rearranged our space to accommodate. Please read our blog post (link in profile), on what changes you’ll expect from us, and what we’ll expect from our visiting clients to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Below is a bulleted list of changes we will be making on our end, and regulations required by the SL County Health Department for patrons visiting personal service businesses.

For clients:

  • All clients must be wearing a mask prior to arrive and during the entire duration of the service. Masks can be partially undone when the stylists needs to work around the ears, but nose and mouth must remain covered.
  • Upon arrival, park, call our front desk at 801-590-9798 to let us know you’ve arrived. If the stylist is ready for you, we will have you come in. If the stylist isn’t quite ready, you will need to wait in your car until they are ready.
  • We will be taking temperatures of clients upon entering the building for the time being. If any fever is present, the client will be sent home.
  • If you have any present symptoms, even the morning of or day of appointment, we require you reschedule. Seek COVID-19 test sights if symptoms align so. All ill clients will be excluded from entering the building.
  • No walk-in appointments accepted. Any new appointments will need to be called and verified through our front desk, so we can verbally check for any symptoms prior to booking.
  • For the time being, we won’t be offering snacks during the appointment. We plan on bringing that back. Just not quite yet!
  • Because of limited group requirements, we can’t accommodate a +1 with any appointment. No spouses, friends, children or furry friends. No exceptions.
  • We encourage cashless transactions.

For stylists and your updated service experience:

  • Every single item, shampoo bowl, product bottle, door handle, chair, brush, comb, counter space, etc. will be fully sanitized before and after each client. Literally everything. No exceptions.
  • Both clients and stylists are required to wear masks during the entire duration of the appointment. No exceptions.
  • Stylists temperatures will be taken and logged each day upon arrival. Any fever present will require the stylist to go home immediately and schedule a COVID-19 test and self isolate. No ill employees will be allowed to work.
  • We will enforce social distancing of 6 ft within our space. The only exception will be between a client and their specific stylist.
  • If a stylist has a gap between appointments, they are required to not visit public spaces during workdays.

We are excited to get back to work and keep you and our staff as safe as humanly possible! We are certain guidelines will change and we will adjust daily as we need to and will get everyone all the information they need to accommodate any and all changes! Let’s get all those grey hairs covered and you back to feeling like yourself again!
